Georgia you have done it again! My cats and I have a ritual every morning. After I brush my hair, I brush their fur. They are long hair Siberians and love to be brushed. However if I forget to brush them, they are on the table rubbing against the brush or, as Puck has it, the brush is between their paws and they are moving their faces against it. They will not let me forget! Its a nice way to start the day. Thank you!

Georgia! This was Hilarious! ! ! My Meesha who was a Maine Coon, loved for me to brush her tail, and her Breeches (the hair on the back of her rear legs). Always reminded me of the MC Hammer pants.
In the wintertime, my owner delights in brushing me in the dark… the static looks like lots of tiny dancing fireflies! Of course, I put up with it for only so long…
I love it! Elvis’s expression is pure “…My brother is NUTS.” as he’s watching Puck have fun. Our black kitty that loved to taunt the Static Electricity Gods was a longhair. Now THAT made for some EPIC floof!
My hairbrush has stiff rubbery bristles and Megan will chew on it whenever she has the chance. She chews on her brush too, which is a bit worrisome as it has metal bristles.
