We had a cat who used to get frantic when he ate the center of his dish out and could see the bottom. He would chase us around the house until we filled the hole up. WHEW! Starvation prevented!

Our Bagheera complains if he can see the bottom of the food dish, since apparently that means it’s empty. Typical kitty logic!
