“or some nonsense” Elvis’ cattitude reminds me of my Kiki and how she views the boys.

Didn’t the family move? Are these the guys from upstairs? Am I getting ahead of myself? Where’s Tommy?

The family did move, but that was before–the ceiling cats are in the new building! (And yes, this is one of them! 🙂 )

¡amee, no seas ridículo! ¡Eso es Sir Fígaro Newton!

      http://www.breakingcatnews.com/comic/there-are-other-cats-in-the-building/

(nothing personal, I just love the dialog from “There are other cats in the building!” SO MUCH that I will pounce on any pretext to paste some in… Also I have no idea whether “that is [X person]” vs. “he is [X person]” is the same in Spanish as in English.)

Introduction to the ceiling cats! I love how Lupin looks like Indiana Jones, especially yesterday when he looked like he was carrying a teeny rope. Elvis remains a skeptic and Puck is enthralled.

Oops, I got tiny rope confused with Lupin’s adventure on gocomics where he discovered the BlUE bag of kibble!

      Annnnd corrected! Thank you, again!

If anyone reading this ever catches a mistake (in Spanish or English, ha!), spelling error, etc please, please let me know. Once I misspelled “lightning” and I still cringe remembering it, but I would not have caught it had readers not let me know and I’m still so grateful to them! Many times I’m self editing and either I may miss something or I just plain don’t know something and put the wrong text. I always want to correct it if I can!

Susie Wilhelm: There are OTHER Lupin adventures? We need a link!

Completely coincidentally (crazily, this was unintentional!) the strip today over on the GoComics ‘Breaking Cat News’ site is Lupin’s first ‘adventure’, lovingly dubbed by readers “Temple of Kibble.” http://www.gocomics.com/breaking-cat-news/2015/01/26

I begin to suspect that Elvis does not like it when he is not the center of attention.
Oh dear, it looks like there will be a laundry explosion in 3…2…1…

And Lupin meets one of the ceiling cats! Can’t wait to see how that works out. 😀

(And maybe Sir Figaro Newton can teach me some Spanish.)

Ouch, too much cuteness!! Lupin’s big smiles are adorable! And I love that Sir Figaro Newton was face-down in the laundry. I’m always finding my ridiculous kitty Loud Howard face-down in the weirdest places. (He’s named after a lesser-known Dilbert character.)

I love how Sir Fig looks like part of the laundry til he pops up! So cutely drawn.

I guess Sir Figaro Newton opened the “tiny door” too and came down the chute. What a lovely surprise! Thanks for such an adorable cartoon. I do look forward to Mondays and Thursdays.

I’m still amazed that an apartment building (as opposed to a hotel) has laundry chutes. The tenants must really have to be on the ball that their laundry doesn’t get mixed in with other folks’ laundry…

Maybe it’s a former big one-family house that’s been cut up into apartments? And it’s possible that the basket location under it is fortuitous, and not a sign that it’s in use by the people. (That would also explain why the door was behind boxes.)

In real life, that’s exactly what the “Big Pink House” is! It’s a Victorian that was built in 1900 and later converted into several apartments. In the comic I switched us to the ground floor to account for Tommy outside the window, (our boys are actually the ceiling cats and Sir Figaro Newton and Tabitha are the floor cats). In reality we live in the old servants quarters on the 3rd floor! It’s a very cool building, we love renting here.
