Indiana Jones eat your heart out! Lupin and the Temple of Kibble is way better! I am looking forward to seeing how Puck survives the Elvis-teasing he’s doing. Awesome!

My cat did that once… only she chewed a hole in the BOTTOM of the 5lb bag… and I picked it up and caused Kibble Rain! I kept finding single escaped kibble niblets (kibbets?) for weeks afterwards…

More importantly, and so did your cat.

Every new cartoon becomes a favorite. Love Natalie’s comment, too.

We once had a cat who figured out how to get to the storage space above the cupboards, but right against the ceiling. It took us an hour to figure out how. Then crawled around the various pots and jars stored up there to the far end where a doubly wrapped plastic bag, inside a Tupperware container, held a quantity of venison jerky. Figured how to open the Tupperware container, chewed through the plastic and ate about 2 lbs of jerky before she was discovered.

Cats do that kind of thing, it seems.

To the spelunking cat the drawer is just the entrance to the cave.

…and it’s the RIGHT kibble, not the yellow bag of betrayal!

I remember my parents’ old cat getting trapped in the cupboard under the sink once. It wasn’t latched or anything; he’d just never gained the understanding that some doors open when you push them.

(On the other hand, he was red-hot on the concept that some doors open when you pull them, which is why the refrigerator needed to get fitted with a lock.)

And this is why the kibble is now in a big, resealable plastic box …

Possibly the same adventuring cat supplies store where he got the rope.
Maybe it was a fire sale?

Oh how funny. I’m just starting to draw a cat cartoon called ‘Cuddles and the Crusaders of the Cross Lark’.
