Hello everyone! I apologize for the delay on Monday’s strip this week. Baby has been up the past few nights (we suspect she is teething again, poor Baby!) and it has not left much time for painting. Thank you always for your patience! I hope you enjoy it.
It’s absolutely unnecessary for you to apologize for delaying your strip: we just figure that there’s a really good reason. AND ESPECIALLY if the reason for the delay was Baby. BTW, I remember those days of teething….you have my complete sympathy.
I second Matthew’s comment that it is unnecessary for you to apologize. Your family must come first! All having the strip delayed does, is to give us (your readers) the privilege of reading it on a different day!
Just love Natasha “talking” to Elvis. Too funny. What is she going to do with part of the plant she is carrying on her back? Add we are getting some insight into Beatrix past.

Lupin is his own sub species – lupi lupinipus – I believe. Although I’m no expert maybe some one could correct me? I think the previously, thought to be extinct, Fluffapawrus Rex (thomas tommy fluffus) may have been a distant cousin.
I like the late-night strips, I get ’em right before I go to bed *g* Hope Baby is feeling better!

Aww, hope the Baby is feeling better soon – that whole teething thing is never much fun! Brilliant strip as always – love how you fit so many of the characters in! Poofy Elvis always gets a laugh, Pucky & Scout getting back to their roots is adorable and Elvis “talking wild cats” is hysterical! I like the turn of events with the new hat sported by the plant of many teeth; I agree with Tommy & Sophie that it’s a thing of beauty…..and am dying to know what the robber mouse is up to!!!!
This must be laugh out loud Tuesday! Talking cactus! Sophie artiste-ing! I assumed Lupin is just confused because he is a “fox” and a white one at that. Who could blame him? he’s soooo suave and handsome. And what is naughty Natasha up to? I thought she got a new sewing set for Christmas? I hope it is just new needles… cue suspenseful music… (Thank you Georgia. Poor Gwen, keeping you all in our thoughts.)

I read a (non-scientific) book on foxes that kind of suggests foxes as being part feline, part canine, sorta in-between the two. Now I have to look at *real* biology books on the subject, but I do agree with the premise that in terms of canine and feline *behaviour*, the fox has a bit of both! Genetic or not {g}….
Aha! The “Plant of Many Teeth” is really an alien. It has co-opted the Robber Mice. It’s new hat is really a broadcast array aimed at the Planet of Many Teeth.

Love Beatrix already in a junior reporter role! When I saw the title for today have to admit my reaction was “Forget the cactus, is Bea gonna be in today’s report??” And kitties getting back to their roots are always adorable!
I can just see the aftermath of today’s report, the cats huddled around the monitors as Burt scans through the footage for the proof of the Talking Cactus, then…”NATASHA!!”
The first time through I read the strip on my phone and didn’t see the robber mouse answering Elvis. I was wondering how you managed that and suspected little Beatrix of playing.
Natasha is carrying a nice “leather” bag for her needles aka swords. Love the strip as usual. You have the most wonderful imagination, Georgia. Thank you for making my day happy.
Always, always worth the wait. Please do not give a thought to being a little delayed…just makes it all the sweeter. Plus, this is free and wonderful stuff-we are grateful for it, and you get to have a life, too.
The comic is awesome, but Tommy just doesn’t seem like himself.. i guess when he’s not got a wide grin, his face seems narrower?

Ahhhh nevermind! I see it now! It’s cactus needles in a sack! I dunno why but it looked like a baby mouse or something on her back–the needles looked like whiskers to me. Haha! :p
When the speech bubble is dashes, is that to signify that their signing to Lupin? I can’t recall any times where the dashes-speechbubble have been directed to someone other than Lupin (not including when talking to Lupin AND another cat).

I’m thinking robber mouse is stealing the needles for sewing, of course knowing the Baba mouse, they might be using the. For voodoo.
I suspect that those are backup weapons. There are few battles that a well-placed cactus spine can’t win.
