I pick up Ninja, who like Puck is a black kitty with three little white patches on her chest and belly, and waltz around with her sometimes. Once my partner was playing a jaunty Joplin piece on the piano, so I picked Ninj up and danced with her. After a minute, she looked at me thoughtfully, then gave my nose a careful little nip. My partner burst out laughing and said, “I think that was a gentle request!” It must have looked quite ridiculous. Not that cats ever look ridiculous, oh no…

Was just reading something about the likelihood of the disappearance of the Marshall Islands due to climate change, and a quote in the language of the Islands had a word: Iakwe.
Meaning: “Hello,” “I love you,” and “You are a rainbow.”
Just thought with your beautiful strip today, this was the best place for me to spread that word. Iakwe!
