I love that Elvis took the time to put on his raincoat before reporting on the spill. Such a cute detail.

    Forst?

And, I find this really interesting. My cats won’t touch spilled kibble, even if their dish is empty. I thought it was just a cat thing.

Maybe it’s just a “your” cat thing! 😀
Our cat won’t touch the food in his bowl if the bottom of the bowl is visible, but he won’t hesitate to clean up a spill off the floor!

I see now that the illustration behind the “kibble spill” headline is a torn bag, but at first I thought it was a nuclear reactor. 🙂 (shades of Three Mile Island)

I just looked at it again, and I can definitely see the reactor. The tear in the bag looks kinda like a lightning bolt. 🙂

Hahahahaha!!! Every detail of this is so perfect, but I think my favorite is the classic film “overhead” shot.

Puck’s dedication to duty is amazing, staying :on air: when there is a Kibble Spill to be investigated.

Hmmm…in our house it’s more likely to be “tripped face-first over a cat…”, particularly in the kitchen. I love Elvis’s sly expression in panel #9.

Love the diversity of the locals who show up to eat at the scene. Sad the authorities intervened. 😉

Really wonder if an ankle check by an unindicted coconspirator was involved in the “chair” trip.

Love Elvis reporting in his trench coat. Also the Woman probably tripped over one of the cats but we won’t question that too closely. And there’s the Toddler down there with Puck! It is a glorious day to be a cat in the kitchen!

I love how Toddler is enjoying the kibble just as much as Puck in Panel 7; not to mention Lupin’s wink in the last panel {g}!

I don’t think I’ve seen Elvis smile that broadly and for the entire strip! Love the “sources claim she’s ok, so it’s hilarious”, add that one to your list of Top 100 best lines list.

No doubt taken from a real life happening. Wonderful expressions on the boys. If this happened in our kitchen, our previous cats would have batted the kibble all around the house, & our now gone dog would have cleaned up most of scattered kibble.

Really, truly LOL! Elvis’ expressions, the toddler joining the “locals” sharing the windfall kibble bounty, “Sources claim she’s okay so it’s hilarious”, not just chuckles, but belly laughs here! I really am in awe of your talent.

This was just about the best! I laughed SO hard! I just love the look on Elvis’s face as he stands amidst the disaster zone in his rain coat! I’m glad you’re ok! Guess you won’t have to feed anyone (including your son) anytime soon! LMAO LOVED IT!

One morning, all my cats just nibbled at their breakfasts. Since breakfast is usually a “OMGWE’RESTARVINGYOUHAVEN’TFEDUSINDAYS” scarf fest, I was concerned… until I found the kibble spill. Someone managed to open the storage cupboard, get a bag of food and share it with everyone. They had been gorging all night. I can see now how that whole night went (minus the woman cleaning it up!) Thanks for the insight! LMAO!!

When my daughter was that age, she didn’t wait for a spill, she’d grab it right out of the cat bowls. Another great strip!

Hi!! Hello! I just love this comic!! These are my cats! They tear into the bag, mess everywhere. If I had tripped, they’d still be eating, and only look for me if they didn’t get canned cat food for dinner!!
